Stacey and Joe both have children from previous relationships, but are yet to have their own children together. Stacey has two sons, Zachary, 10, and Leighton, 6, while Joe has an 11-year-old son, Harry, from his relationship with actress Kara Tointon. The Loose Women panellist moved in with her long-term boyfriend in September 2018 and on Saturday night, she will show a TV audience around the new pad she shares with Joe.
She said: “I’m loving that Joe and I are together in this. I’ve never shared the responsibility of a house with somebody and I can’t wait for him to get home so we can really start to live it together, which is really exciting for us.”
But she revealed they are not in a hurry to get married.
The former X Factor contestant added: “No I don’t think we’re in a hurry to get married either. We love the concept and the thought of having a day to celebrate our love for each other but neither of us is adamant that we have to get married.
“It’s a contract at the end of the day. It’s whether you want to enter into that contract and we’re really happy as we are and things are going really well. We just feel that if it’s not broke.”
The star has admitted on the ITV daytime show that she “definitely” wants more babies in the future.
She has said on the show: “I definitely want more children and it does make me broody when I see people have babies.
“I’ve looked at her and been like, ‘I want one of those’.”
At the end of last year, the couple spoke about their first Christmas together in their new home.
Speaking to Closer Magazine ahead of Christmas Day, Stacey said: “We always visit everyone else, but this year I said ‘No, we’ve finally got our own home, we’re going to stay put and we’d love all of our family to join us’ – it’s a really big deal.”
She explained: “Everyone calls me ‘Elf’ because I get so excited about Christmas. The tree goes up mid-November, my kids decorate it and then I redo it when they go to sleep – they stick all the decorations together instead of spreading them out, so I’m like Monica from Friends and turn it all around!”
Stacey continued: “Joe likes to think he’s the chef but I’m a bit of a control freak, so I’ll take over.
“I’ll let Joe believe that he’s going to be a big part of it, and then he’ll end up just seasoning the Brussels or something.”
The 29-year-old has said she has big plans to explore the world a bit more in 2019.
She said: “I’d love to travel and do some more educational trips.
“I’ve never done Asia – I’d really love to go to China and Japan, and I want to go to Burma because by grandad is from there.
“I’d love to learn about the culture – that would be amazing.”
Through the Keyhole is on at ITV at 9.30pm.
