Sky and Virgin Media are both offering some very big discounts right now which could help cut your monthly bills.
As long as you are out of a current contract then now is a good time to start shopping for a better deal especially as Sky has recently announced a price rise which will take effect next month.
There’s plenty of discounts available from both of these firms with TV, mobile and broadband all reduced in price.
So, if you are looking to cut the cost of your bills here’s the best deals on offer right now.
BEST DEALS FROM SKY
There are numerous discounts available at the moment from Sky including cuts on some of its most popular bundles.
The latest price drop means you can get now get Sky Entertainment, Sports and Cinema in HD for just £45 per month – usually £60.
This bundle also includes over 300 other channels plus more than 1,000 movies on demand.
The deal lasts for 18-months and comes with a 1TB Sky Q box.
Next up there’s a deal for F1 fans.
Sky is currently offering its dedicated motorsport channel for £10 per month – usually £18.
This year is the first time only one race is being televised live on terrestrial TV with Sky getting exclusive rights to the rest of the season.
One final deal from Sky is its TV and broadband service which currently costs £33 per month.
This includes over 300 channels and unlimited internet usage with this deal lasting for 18-months.
BEST DEALS FROM NOW TV
If you don’t want to sign up to lengthy contract then Sky’s NOW TV streaming service is a good option.
Right now there’s an offer to get two months of Sky Cinema, Entertainment and Kids TV for the price of one.
NOW TV has also launched a deal which brings nine months of Sky’s sporting channels, including F1, for £195 – that’s half the usual price.
This is a one-off fee but could be a good option if you want to catch the end of the Premier League season and new F1 Championship.
It’s worth remembering that NOW TV is a streaming service so you’ll need a compatible device to watch content on and a fast internet connection to avoid buffering.
Sky’s Mobile service isn’t cutting prices but it has just announced that customers using this network will now be able to watch all of Sky’s content away from home without using any data.
Called Watch, this new addition lets you stream on any Sky app, such as Sky Go, Sky Kids, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, without an ounce of expensive data being eaten up.
Sky says that Watch is available to all Sky Mobile customers, although what you can access will depend on your Sky TV subscription
Virgin Media has cut the price of two of its best bundles.
This means you can currently get VIP for £79 per month – saving £10 – or Full House Sports for £65 – saving £12.
As a reminder, VIP comes with a swathe of channels including Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema HD and BT Sports plus there’s VIVID 350 broadband.
Full House Sports features all of the best sporting stations pus VIVID 200 broadband.
Virgin Media’s mobile service is also offering some very good discounts with prices dropped to as little as £9 per month.
This low-cost option includes 5GB of data, 2500 minutes and unlimited texts.
Virgin is also offering two contracts with triple data included.
This means you can get 12GB of usage for £12 per month or 45GB for £18 per month.
Finally, there’s totally unlimited data for £27 per month.
All of these require a 12-month contract to be signed.
