Sarah Ferguson, 59, showed her support for the United Nations’ International Children’s Emergency Fund on Friday evening. The Duchess of York jetted to Dallas, Texas for the event after a busy week of engagements. For the annual Gala, Sarah chose to wear a fitted, floor-length black gown. The figure-hugging dress featured three-quarter length sleeves and a boat neckline – a style loved by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.
Sarah looked extremely glamorous for the ball, styling her auburn locks into big bouncy curls which rested on her shoulders.
She accessorised with a dazzling pair of drop diamond earrings and minimal jewellery.
The Duchess also had glamorous makeup for the gala, opting for smokey eyeshadow and pink lipstick.
As she posed at the entrance of the event, Fergie grinned for the cameras with her hands by her sides.
The 2nd Annua UNICEF Gala was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas on Friday 1st February.
There were also a whole host of celebrities at the event.
A-listers and showbiz influencers and philanthropists took the stage to perform, speak about Unicef’s work around the world or run a live auction.
Fergie is well known for having devoted her life to charitable causes and organisation helping children and family in need.
Last year she merged her charity Children In Crisis – which she founded in 1993 – with Street Child.
Sarah looked incredible at the Gala, and worlds away from the photo of herself daughter Princess Eugenie posted on Friday.
Princess Eugenie, 28, made the most of “Flashback Friday”, sharing a sweet family photo – taken in January 1992 – with her 642,000 Instagram followers.
In the capture, a younger-looking princess could be seen spending time with her mum, Sarah Ferguson.
The Duchess of York, now 59, grinned as her youngest daughter sat on her shoulders.
Spending time in the resort village Klosters, Switzerland, the pair were dressed in warm ski jackets and trousers.
The young Princess Eugenie was dressed in green, and had two brightly coloured mittens dangling from her wrists.
She captioned the snap: “All this snow got me remembering how cool mum and I were in the 90s #flashbackfriday @sarahferguson15.”
