Pupils run to fat as PE lessons cut by 10%

CHILDREN in state secondary schools do 10 per cent less physical education than five years ago, new figures reveal. Government statistics show a drop from 317,100 hours taught in 2012 to just 282,200 hours in the same month of 2017 – 35,000 hours less PE a year.
