The OnePlus 6 appears to have suffered the same fate as every modern smartphone launch – a major leak.
Rumours about this device continue to come thick and fast with specs, price and design already flooding across the web.
But now a new set of leaked images are giving OnePlus fans one of their best looks yet at the company’s soon to revealed flagship.
Bizarrely, case maker Olixar have blatently posted renders of the OnePlus 6 on their website with them saying after an initial official tease, they have officially revealed how the front and back of OnePlus’ latest device will appear.
The pictures confirm what many rumours were speculating with the OnePlus 6 featuring an all-screen design and iPhone X-style notch at the top of the display.
Spin the phone around and it seems this new device is following Samsung with a similar camera and fingerprint placement to the new Galaxy S9+.
There’s also a dual rear snapper which is likely to offer DSLR-style depth of field and zoom capabilities.
There’s no official word if these images are real but, if they do show the new phone in all its glory, this leak from Olixar is unlikely to go down too well with OnePlus.
Although the Chinese firm is keeping quiet about its next generation device it did reveal one piece of news this week which may give a hint that the OnePlus 6 is launching very soon.
The firm has just announced that its hugely successful £449 OnePlus 5T device is now out of stock across the UK and Europe.
Whilst dwindling stock levels are clearly bad news for those wanting to buy a new OnePlus smartphone it could mean good news is on the horizon.
With the 5T now sold out, this could be a major indication that a new flagship launch is imminent.
OnePlus has grown its business by never making an excessive amount of phones that it simply can’t sell.
So with no more 5T devices on its website there’s plenty of reasons to believe that a big update is coming soon.
As the leaked images above show, the refreshed OnePlus 6 looks set to offer some major upgrades over anything the firm has released before.
Along with the huge screen and dual-lens camera it’s thought the device will feature the super fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, a bigger battery and more RAM.
OnePlus also looks set to release a higher spec and more powerful model which could include extra storage variations going up to 256GB.
Another rumour doing the rounds is that OnePlus has teamed-up with Disney to launch a new special edition Avengers: Infinity War model of its upcoming OnePlus 6.
According to a new report from Deadline, OnePlus is indeed planning a special edition OnePlus 6 smartphone that will be included as part of Marvel’s “biggest advertising campaign yet” for the upcoming movie.
