OnePlus 6 leak reveals good news on design and bad news on price | Tech | Life & Style

Tomorrow is the day when the OnePlus 6 will finally be unleashed on the world with the Chinese firm holding a huge launch event in London.

However, a massive leak may have just revealed this new device in full a little earlier than planned.

Images of the OnePlus 6, that appear to be official shots of the phone, have appeared on Slashleaks and probably give fans their best look yet at what’s to come.

The photos appear to prove what many of the previous rumours had already suggested with the OnePlus 6 including a stunning edge-to-edge screen that covers the entire front of the device.

A small notch at the top of the display can also be seen which is likely to contain the front-facing camera and speaker.

On the rear of the device there’s a dual camera which now sits in the middle of the case rather than at the edge.

There’s also what appears to be a fingerprint scanner tucked underneath this rear snapper.

It is thought that the OnePlus 6 will feature an all-glass design but it’s difficult to tell from the images if this is true.

The OnePlus 6 certainly looks like a huge upgrade from the 5T and this appears to be a very exciting looking smartphone.

Sadly, like most things in life, if you want the best features you are going to have to pay for it.

OnePlus has long been famed for creating brilliant phones at budget price but fans may have to pay a little extra to own the OnePlus 6.

Slashleaks has also revealed some suggested prices for the new OnePlus with prices rumoured to start from €539.

The current OnePlus 5T starts from 499 so there appears to be an increase of around €40 – there’s no word yet on UK pricing but we’ll find out full details tomorrow.

One thing that should helps fans cope with this increase is a new .

The technology company announced last week that it is offering a bonus price for anyone trading in their smartphone.

This saving is down to the company’s time-limited trade-in bonus offer for OnePlus owners.

If you own a OnePlus 5T or a OnePlus 3, trading in your old handset will help to make the much-awaited OnePlus 6 more affordable.

To get this discount, OnePlus owners should visit the company’s dedicated trade-in site and fill in the details of their current phone.

Then, within two weeks of sending off your old phone you will receive a voucher which you can then put towards a OnePlus 6 on the oneplus.com site.
