Kate Middleton stepped out in Essex today to open an Action on Addiction treatment centre in Wickford, Essex, which helps people with addictions.
The 35-year-old Duchess wore a blue coat, black dress and black high heels.
She smiled as she met charity workers at the event.
The pregnant Duchess, who has been rumoured to be expecting twins, arrived in a black SUV.
The centre, which opened its doors to clients last year, hosts a rolling cycle of nine-week long self-help addiction recovery programmes called Clouds in the Community.
The royal is a proud advocate for mental health.
She recently appeared in a heartfelt video to promote the need to boost “children’s self-esteem”.
Kate Middleton said in the video: “Childhood is an incredibly important moment in our lives.
“It is the time when we explore our personalities, discover the potential that lies within us and learn how we be ourselves.”
As she arrived, Kate waved to the crowds of royal fans, carrying gifts and flowers, who had gathered in the cold to catch a glimpse of the Duchess.
This aims to offer an effective alternative to residential treatment and provides the charity with an opportunity to provide services in more than one place.
While there, Kate will take part in a round-table discussion with healthcare professionals, staff and clients, and attend an opening reception.
The charity also offers educational courses up to degree level at The Centre of Addiction Treatment Studies in Wiltshire.
