Commuters were seen gathering outside the rail station, which was closed off by detectives along with adjacent Cranbrook Road while paramedics raced to the scene. Reports suggest the incident happened following an altercation inside the train station, but spilled out onto the street, Essex Live reports. A large cordon is in place and the victim has been rushed to hospital. Police remain on the scene.

Traffic from both directions is being stopped by police, who have used blue tape to seal off the area.
London Post reports a “young Somali” was stabbed in the attack.
The attack comes amid a knife crime crisis that has plagues the capital since the beginning of 2018.
Last year saw more than 100 fatal murders take place in the City, while so far this year 33 people have been butchered on the streets of London.
Just yesterday, a double stabbing took place in Harrow, north west London, at 9.20pm.
A man in his 40s was also stabbed there the day before, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
