The Samsung Galaxy S9 launched a few months to much critical and commercial success.
The latest Samsung flagship was praised for its gorgeous screen while the larger S9 Plus received numerous five star reviews.
In our review of the Galaxy S9+ we gave the handset top marks, praising it for its fabulous dual lens camera, stunning design and curved display.
But while there are plenty of reasons to love the S9 and S9+, owners may be left looking enviously at Samsung’s next smartphone.
Rumours are emerging about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which is set to be launched at an Unpacked 2018 event in a few months time.
Bloomberg’s well-sourced tech tipster Mark Gurman has revealed Samsung’s alleged plans for the Note 9.
And he claims that when the Note 9 is unveiled Samsung will highlight the device’s upgraded camera.
If correct, it would mean Samsung are upgrading its smartphone camera tech twice in one year – an unheard of move.
Gurman added the Note 9 will feature an upgraded Qualcomm processor and that the Samsung phone will gets its grand unveiling earlier this year.
Last year Samsung held an Unpacked event for the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 2017.
However, Gurman said this year the Unpacked event will be brought forward by two weeks.
This would put a Galaxy Note 9 reveal as happening in early August.
Conflicting reports from Forbes have claimed the Note 9 will have an upgraded camera, but it will be an improved front facing one – not the rear snapper.
The news comes after Express.co.uk over the weekend revealed a great Samsung Galaxy S9 money saving deal.
When this flagship was unveiled by Samsung back in February at Mobile World Congress it would have cost you over £730 to buy SIM-free and over £40 per month on contract.
If that high price was putting you off upgrading don’t panic as the Galaxy S9 is now a lot more affordable.
In fact, a new deal is offering the Galaxy S9 on contract at a lower price than you can buy the device SIM-free.
Mobiles.co.uk has released a new offer which gives customers the chance to pick up the S9 for just £23 per month.
This gives you 4GB of data plus unlimited calls/texts on the Vodafone network.
There is a £110 upfront fee to pay, with the total price over two years costing £662 – that’s almost £100 cheaper than buying the phone direct from Samsung.
