Galaxy Note 9 image may reveal a surprising design from Samsung | Tech | Life & Style

looks set to unveil its new with rumours suggesting a big unveiling will take place in late July or early August.

This is the usual time for Samsung to unveil its flagship phablet with a launch often taking place around the yearly IFA technology show.

With just a few months to go there’s already plenty of rumours swirling around the web with this device expected to include a huge 3,850mAh battery, upgraded processor and better display.

In fact, not only could the screen be brighter and sharper but also have a fingerprint scanner tucked neatly under the glass.

This would be the first time Samsung has managed to include this clever technology and would certainly go someway to fixing the design issues of previous devices.

Other features could include a new colour for the company, dubbed Teddy Brown, and the famous S Pen could also get a major refresh.

All of these features look hugely exciting but it seems there’s one part of this next generation device that might not be so radically different.

A supposed leaked image of the Galaxy Note 9 has just appeared on Chinese site Weibo and it shows a phone which looks almost identical to the Galaxy Note 8.

There’s no confirmation that this photo is real but Samsung has already faced a similar issue with its Galaxy S9.

This phone launched earlier in the year and was applauded for its camera, speed and display but some were critical that the design hadn’t changed enough from last year’s Galaxy S8.

If Samsung follows this decision with the Note 9 it seems phablet fans may get something very similar to the Note 8.

Samsung revealed its Note 8 in August so expect more leaks about the Note 9 to appear in the coming months.

The news or this latest leak comes as it’s been revealed a new device called the is also on its way.

The phone, going by the name SM-G8750, appears to be an affordable version of last year’s Galaxy S8.

Since this still has the Infinity Display plus that glass and metal build, this could be a very good deal.

There’s no word on a launch date but it’s expected to arrive later this month.
