Carol Vorderman thankfully made light of a remark about her latest picture, which she shared with her 398,000 Twitter followers. The former Countdown favourite had a great response for the user in question, who spoke out after she revealed how she was going to kill some time on her train journey. The 58-year-old had started: “I know. Predictable #Sudoku… But it doesn’t take much to keep me happy… “I hate shopping… I love puzzles #CheapDate #Trainspotting.”
Carol’s comments accompanied a photo of herself sat in a window seat with dark-rimmed spectacles.
She wore a high-neck, black jumper and minimal make-up, as she held up a newspaper page covered in puzzles.
The mother-of-two beamed at the camera while wearing her blonde tresses down in a natural wave.
However, one user replied: “Carol you look like a proper physco bunny boiler in that pic.”(sic)
Outspoken Carol wasted no time in responding, setting them straight: “Or a hard-working woman in a standard jumper, who’s on the train to London yet again.
“Who needs T wear glasses sometimes?!? Just a thought!!!”(sic)
The person in question then added: “This is very true Carol… but don’t usually get a reply.”
Carol was also inundated with other replies about her choice of entertainment, others much more complimentary.
When someone quipped about her choice of newspaper, she stated: “Depends why you buy a paper!!! I go straight to the puzzles…”
“I imagine you’re racing through those sudokus in record time against a countdown clock, Carol,” another stated.
She then tweeted: “Keeps me smiling and gets the brain sharp x.”
A third asked: “What about crosswords? Do they make you happy too?” but she said: “Nope… not a crossword girl at all.”
Meanwhile, Carol shared a second shot, revealing what reading material she had picked up also.
She wrote: “Laughing at myself… my reading material for the train today… um… a psychiatrist’s dream?”
It comes just days after Carol Vorderman posed in just a pair of lace knickers in a number of jaw-dropping snaps.
She shared old snaps of herself wearing a tight black top matched with a tiny pair of briefs.
