In an unearthed interview, The Chase presenter delved into his private life and spilled details on a gift he received from his wife Donna Derby, which he had yet to use. Speaking in an interview with the Huffington Post in 2016, Bradley Walsh revealed the three things he still had left on his to-do-list, and admitted he had not got around to riding the Orient Express train, despite his spouse buying him a ticket for Christmas. He said: “Crikey. Now I promised my wife years ago, my wife bought me a Christmas present and that was to go on the Orient Express, because Murder On The Orient Express is one of my all-time favourite old films. “And my wife bought me this ticket, and I was so thrilled, but life just got so busy – which is another thing for my 13-year-old self, don’t let life get too busy.”
He added: “So I have to go on the Orient Express. I’ve never been to Australia, I’d love to go to Australia, and I’d love to see New Zealand.”
The TV star, who has been married to his wife Donna for over 20 years, also admitted she is the one person who keeps grounded.
He told the publication: “My wife especially, without a shadow of doubt [keeps me grounded].”
The actor and presenter rarely gives details into his home life but has been spotted attending red carpet events alongside his wife.
The couple tied the knot in 1997 and share one son together, 22-year-old Barney Walsh.
Bradley also has a daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship.
Meanwhile, the star’s wife is no stranger to the limelight as she worked as a professional dancer and choreographer in the 80s.
In 1988, Donna starred in the music video for Robert Palmer’s Simply Irresistible.
This song was the first single by the crooner released and is known as one of the most distinctive music videos of the 80s.
The song reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart when it was released.
Their pal Holly Willoughby shared a cheeky video clip alongside Donna last year which showed the pair dancing together.
The This Morning presenter had the iconic 80s music video playing in the background as the duo imitated the signature dance moves in the video.
She captioned the post: “Me and the original #robertpalmer babe #Donna…who happens to be #bradleywalsh wife!!!”
Fans flocked to comment on the post, as one person said: “Bradley you lucky man lol.”(sic)
Another person said: “Go ladies, great moves lol.”(sic)
