Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon is back on screen tonight as the latest series of the ITV programme kicks off. Alesha, 40, is returning following a presenting stint on new BBC series The Greatest Dancer. The former Mis-teeq singer is a firm favourite with BGT fans for her bubbly humour, passionate comments and her on-trend fashion sense. During her previous series, Alesha has been renowned for her choice of jewellery, preferring to wear just the one statement earring item in her left lobe.
The opening episode of the 2019 series appeared no different, as she starred in the opening scenes with a very eye-catching earring.
This appeared to be a huge silver geometric shape with three sides, similar to a triangle.
She failed to wear a matching drop in her other ear.
Instead, Alesha matched her earring with delicate silver necklaces.
Her baby pink corset-style top, with a silver zip up the middle, proved a stark contrast to her metallic jewellery.
Alesha, who joined the BGT panel in 2012, continued the metallic colour theme with flared light grey trousers.
She scraped her brunette locks in a high ponytail, in a style which served to show off her jewellery to best effect.
The TV star chose to sport dark eyeshadow and lashings of black mascara or a statement look.
Meanwhile, in addition to Alesha’s signature style being out under the spotlight, so too is Simon Cowell’s figure.
The X Factor judge is now believed to have ditched dairy, gluten, and sugar in an attempt to overhaul his eating habits.
An insider claims he now has a “spring in his step” as well as a smaller waistline, after making the changes.
Simon, 59, told Extra about what his lifestyle regime entailed and said: “I went to see this guy who’s very well-known.
“And he said to me, after doing some blood work, you can’t have red meat, dairy, sugar, bread or gluten.”
Yet alcohol is not forbidden, which appeared to come as a little relief to the judge.
He added how the doctor has advised: ”’Maybe not quite as much as you had before.’”
Simon confessed: “And I did it and I stuck to it and it’s easy.”
