AEK Athens vs Celtic live stream: How to watch Champions League qualifier online

Greece will play host to the highly-anticipated match that will determine whether Celtic will take part in the lauded European tournament this season.

Ahead of the clash it was claimed coach Brendan Rodgers could leave the club if they crash out of the qualifier tonight.

Jim White, a host on talkSPORT, declared Rodgers is “ambitious” and could take matters into his own hands if the Scottish outfit do not win tonight.

He commented: “Celtic are a huge club with a global support.

“Their support is enormous and that’s why Brendan Rodgers took the job.

“But he is a very ambitious man and if Celtic were to go out now I think Brendan would think, ‘I need to win something huge in football to show that I have been a top coach’.

“When he looks back at his career he’s got to win something huge and I think Brendan, with all his ambition, will think that maybe if it doesn’t happen at Celtic it might happen elsewhere.”

The aggregate result means if Celtic draw or lose tonight they will not be taking part in this year’s Champions League.
