Italy travel advice: Is Italy going on the UK quarantine list? | Travel News | Travel

It’s highly likely Italy will be added to the quarantine list this Thursday, but it probably won’t be a blanket ban.

Most of the cases were recorded in the islands of Sardinia and some in Sicily.

This means the rules will probably come into place on Saturday at 4am, forcing Brits abroad in Italy to scramble home to avoid self-isolating for 14 days at home.

This is what happened to those holidaying in Portugal and Hungary when these countries were taken off the safe list last week.
