Andreas Andreadis, chief executive of Sani Ikos resorts, spoke at an online discussion by Greek diaspora group The Hellenic Initiative to point out how some businesses may be hit hardest.

“This will push tourism towards the high end. The low end of the market will suffer most,” he said

Britons gearing up for a holiday are advised to follow the guidelines set out by Greek authorities.

“The Greek authorities may require you to undergo testing for coronavirus, as part of health screening after you arrive in Greece,” advises the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
